For me WIC was a club of plurality. Being a member, a vice president and a president, I found the diversity of the club members from all over the world an inspiring period during my time in Delhi and India. Many members are still very close friends. WIC is a lifelong “Network”!

My Indian life would have been incomplete without WIC. It was a great opportunity to be a part of WIC, make new friends and learn about different cultures as well as share mine. Conducting the activities made me more confident and gave me a chance to speak English in the presence of many people. I have made many friends of different nationalities. Thank you WIC and my amazing friends.

For transients like myself, WIC offered a calibre of contact with India and Indians incomparable with any similar club in Delhi. I was particularly touched by the interest certain Indian members took in making me feel welcome and included. In the 2013-2014 club year, I served as the 2nd Vice President (Programs). Circles such as the Cultural Kaleidoscope presented opportunities to learn, to share and to forge friendships that I maintain to this day.
