For transients like myself, WIC offered a calibre of contact with India and Indians incomparable with any similar club in Delhi. I was particularly touched by the interest certain Indian members took in making me feel welcome and included. In the 2013-2014 club year, I served as the 2nd Vice President (Programs). Circles such as the Cultural Kaleidoscope presented opportunities to learn, to share and to forge friendships that I maintain to this day.
